Terms of Use

Effective August 10, 2026

picnic. ("we," "us") is an app for deciding where to eat with friends: swiping on restaurants together, matching, and chatting in a group. These terms cover the basics of using it. By creating an account, you agree to them.

Your account

You need an account to swipe, match, or chat. You're responsible for what happens under your username, and for keeping your password to yourself.

Zero tolerance for abuse

picnic. has no tolerance for harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual content involving minors, impersonation, spam, or any illegal content sent through chat, photos, or group names. This applies everywhere in the app someone can post or type something — not just public areas.

We remove violating content and terminate accounts responsible for it, without warning if the violation is severe.

Reporting and blocking

Every chat message can be reported or its author blocked, right from the chat — tap a person's name to do either. Blocking hides their messages from you and stops either of you from adding each other as friends.

Reports go to our admin team, and we aim to review them within 24 hours. If you'd rather reach us directly, email picnic.eats.th@gmail.com.

Your content

Photos and messages you post stay yours. Posting them in a group gives that group's members and picnic. the ability to display them back to you and to the group — that's how the chat and Nest features work. We don't sell your content or hand it to advertisers.

Restaurant data

Restaurant names, ratings, and photos shown in the app come from Google Places and other public sources, refreshed periodically to stay current. We don't guarantee this data is accurate or up to date — always confirm hours and details with the restaurant directly before you go.

Account termination

We can suspend or remove an account that violates these terms, including for the abuse covered above. You can delete your own account any time from Account settings.

No warranty

picnic. is provided as-is. We work to keep it running well, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we're not liable for a bad meal, a missed reservation, or a match nobody actually wanted to go to.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app changes. Continuing to use picnic. after an update means you accept the new terms.
